Lisa My Love

Lisa My Love

We met when I was already changing,

Erupting, into a brighter me.

After gray years.

x

But the paths were many, and illumination blurred.

She said – let me show you some ways of wonder,

Walk with me a while, let’s see how we do. And she

Held up before me the Light of Her Love,

To guide the way.

x

The ways have been wondrous, we have done well

With our Love.

 x

Now a shadow has fallen across her paths.

A desired choice has been forced upon her,

Options have melted, advances nulled by circumstance.

 x

She will see her way.

My Goddess is a

Seer of the Crossroads.

 x

Yet it is not a well lit time,

Taxing difficulties lurk in shadows.

 x

And although she has

Woven a Web of Friendship through

Years of help and guidance to others,

There is a sense of aloneness, that old

Thing, from almost the beginning of memory.

 x

The responsible one, a solitary position.

 x

BeLoved,

Let me offer this creation of Mind,

Soul, and Word. Filled with a bright

Tenderness.

 x

Though it be an unpractical thing, a mere

Flicker against the reality of imposing Shadows.

 x

Please trust it is

Crafted with the Purest of my Love.

 x

May it light at least one dark corner.
